ABOUT LAGRANGE COLLEGE ATHLETICS


Athletics are an important part of the LaGrange experience. The College currently features 15 intercollegiate sports (8 for men, 7 for women). Men's lacrosse and beach volleyball began play during the 2019-20 academic year. Football was added in 2006. The school also has a host of intramural activities. Among the best in the region, our athletic facilities include a $2 million baseball stadium and a softball complex.

Over one-third of on-campus students participate in athletics at LaGrange, which is a NCAA Division III member. Panther teams compete in the USA South Athletic Conference. 


LaGrange athletic teams excelled during the 2020-21 academic year. The Panther baseball team won the USA South tournament title for the fourth straight year, while reaching the NCAA Division III national tournament also for the fourth year in a row. Men's and women's basketballand golf qualified for USA South Tournaments in their respective sports. Senior golfer Cameron Starr competed as an individual at the 2021 NCAA Division III Golf Championship.

LaGrange athletic teams had 80 student-athletes earn USA South Academic All-Conference recognition. The Panthers had 29 athletes earn various USA South All-Conference honors.
