Senior outfielder Jack Layrisson was selected as the USA South Baseball Player of the Week for the week ending March 20. Layrisson helped the 12th-ranked Panthers sweep a three-game USA South series from Berea. 

In the three-game series, Layrisson batted .692 (9-for-13) with three doubles, two triples, a home run and 10 RBIs. He had a 1.462 slugging percentage and a .688 on-base percentage. In the series' final game, Layrisson was 4-for-6, including two doubles and a home run, with four RBIs. For the season, he is batting .391 with a home run and a conference-leading 29 RBIs.
