LAGRANGE, Ga. – No. 2/8 LaGrange (10-5, 0-0 CCS) baseball continues to be road warriors as they head to Oglethorpe (3-12, 1-2 SAA) for the 49th meeting in program history on Tuesday, March 14. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m.

The Panthers come in having won four of their last six, including a 20-3 demolition of Westfield (3/11) and a 7-1 victory over Chicago (3/12). The Stormy Petrels dropped their first nine games to start the season but have gone 3-3 since. That has included back-to-back wins over Wittenberg, 6-0 on March 10 and 10-9 on March 11 before falling 14-5 in the series finale on in the nightcap.

SERIES HISTORY

LaGrange holds a 36-12 lead in the all-time series against Oglethorpe, a stretch that dates back to 2001. It is a series that saw the Panthers win 21 of the first 23 meetings into the 2009 campaign. Since 2017 they have won seven of the past eight, including six in a row through 2020. Most recently they notched a 20-9 victory in Atlanta, Georgia on April 12, 2022.
