LAGRANGE, Ga. – LaGrange (1-2, 0-0 USA South) men's lacrosse returns home as they host Oglethorpe (2-2, 0-0 SAA) in non-conference action on Saturday, February 18. Faceoff is set for 1 p.m. at Callaway Stadium.
The Panthers come in having dropped their last two, falling 20-13 at Hendrix (2/11) and 19-5 at Berry (2/15) while Stormy Petrels are 2-2 in the early going. They dropped a narrow 11-10 decision at NCAA Division II Shorter (2/1) before falling 22-2 at Reinhardt (2/4) and 24-3 at Piedmont (2/9). Most recently they notched a 12-7 win over Point (2/11).
SERIES HISTORY
LaGrange and Oglethorpe have split the two previous meetings in program history. OU notched an 11-8 victory in the first meeting in Atlanta, Georgia on February 26, 2020 before LC came back with a 13-9 decision on February 19, 2022. This will be the first time the clubs have met in LaGrange.
