LC Men's Lacrosse begins the 2024 season with an away matchup at Berry (Feb. 10), at 11 a.m. The Panthers stay in Rome, Ga. to take on another team (announced after the first game) the following day (Feb. 11).

The teams

The Panthers currently have not faced anyone this spring. LC is coming off a 7-9 (4-5 CCS) season in which they finished fifth in the conference. A key player making his return as a Panther is sophomore attackman Luke Young. Young was selected to the USA South Second All-Conference Team last season after finishing with 66 points off of 51 goals and 15 assists. Berry College has played one game this year and lost 29-6 against Salisbury (Md.). The Vikings are coming off of a 6-7 2023 season (2-5 SAA). Senior attackman Michael Mckenize is a top scorer for Berry College. In 13 games played last year, he had 37 points after scoring 32 goals and adding five assists.

Recent history 

LC is 0-3 all-time against Berry College. The last time the two teams played, the Panthers lost 19-5 (Feb. 15, 2023).
