ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.- East Division-leading N.C. Wesleyan topped LaGrange 2-0 in a USA South game Saturday. The loss left the Panthers 4-9-2 on season and 2-5-2 in USA South play.
N.C. Wesleyan (11-5, 9-1 USA South) got both of its goals in the first half. The Bishops limited the Panthers to just one shot in the game. Cory Aycock had nine saves in goal for the Panthers.
The Panthers play at Methodist in a USA South game Sunday.
