Men's Soccer: Panthers' 2017 season ends in loss at USA South Tournament

MARYVILLE, Tenn. - LaGrange's 2017 season ended with a 7-0 loss to Maryville in the USA South Tournament on Saturday. The Panthers (5-11-2) were making their first appearance in the conference tournament.

"It was a great accomplishment getting to the playoffs for the first time in the programs history," said assistant coach Ryan Dickson. "Unfortunately the result against Maryville didn't go the way we wanted it, but it was a great way to send our seniors off. Looking to the future, we have set a standard which we need to build on for next season."

Sophomore Errick Sturm finished the season with 16 goals, the second most in the program's history. Sturm tied for second in the USA South in goals scored.

The game marked the final one for seniors David Flores, Daniel Provence, Diego Torres, and Christian Ussery.
