JACKSON, Miss. - Millsaps spoiled LaGrange's 2019 season opener with a 2-1 win Friday night at Harper Davis Field. The Majors (1-0) led 1-0 at halftime on Brett Judd's goal. The Panthers drew even 18 minutes into the second half on freshman Alex Drazic's goal with an assist from fellow freshman Blake Webb. Millsaps answered five minutes later with the go-ahead goal by Luca Kristner.

Game Notes:

• First meeting between LC and Millsaps since 2014.
• Millsaps held 11-8 shot and 7-4 on goal advantage. 
• Millsaps also had 8-4 advantage in corner kicks. 

Panther Standouts

• Webb finished the game with three shots, including two on goal, and the assist.
• Lucas Wright had five saves in goal in his first collegiate game.
• Errick Sturm had two shots in the game, with one on goal.
