Freshman pitcher Ansley Brown is the USA South Rookie Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 14.

Brown posted a 2-0 record last week in two appearances, one a start, for the Panthers. In 14 innings of work she allowed three runs (1.50 ERA) on 11 hits with no walks and seven strikeouts. In a 3-1 win over Judson, Brown came on in relief in the first inning and pitched seven shutout innings, allowing three hits with four strikeouts. In a 5-3 win over Berea, Brown went the distance with three strikeouts to earn the victory.
