The Panthers hit I85 East towards Atlanta to take on the Petrels of Oglethorpe tonight at 6 p.m. 

The teams

LC is 4-1 and are coming off of a dominating 80-63 win over Principia College (Nov. 18). In that game, Zyhia Johnson scored a team-high 19 points while shooting 100% from three and 58% from the field. Taylor Smith also had a great performance in this game. Smith secured a double-double by grabbing 11 rebounds and scoring 16 points. Oglethorpe is also 4-1 and most recently crushed Averett 90-52 (Nov 18). The leading scorer for the Petrels is Keimarya Rivera (11 ppg). 

The series

The Panthers are 9-10 all time versus Oglethorpe. The last time the two teams faced off, LC narrowly won 69-65 (Nov. 27, 2022).
