The Gary Wilson Invitational race is located on University of West Georgia campus in Carrollton, GA. The competitors are made up of NCAA division two and three colleges from around the south. The women's race was a 5000 meter course (3.2 miles) and began at 5:45 p.m. The men's course was a 8000 meter course (5 miles) and began at 6:15 p.m.

Next Friday (Sept. 30), the men's and women's teams run in the Berry Invitationals. The first race begins at 9 a.m. This will be the last regular season race of the 2023 season until the CCS Cross Country Championship (Oct. 28).
