SAVANNAH, Ga. - The LaGrange golf team finished play at the Savannah Invitational in its first tournament of the spring on Tuesday.
The Panthers were 15th in the field with a three-round total of 908 over the Savannah Country Club par 71 course. LC had its best round of the tournament with a final round score of 294.
Senior Jay Adams and sophomore Connor Gillespie tied for team honors with tournament totals of 226. Gillespie and freshman Luke Jarvis had the Panthers' low round of the tournament with 73s on Tuesday.
Jarvis had a tournament total of 229. He was followed by Chase Thompson (231) and Thomas Bird (235).
The Panthers play at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational on March 18-20.
