The Panthers went 13-13 overall last winter and 7-9 in the USA South, finishing in a tie for fifth in the West Division. LaGrange was defeated by Maryville in the first round of the conference tournament in Maryville, Tennessee, at the Panthers and Scots met three times last season.
The Panthers' 2019-20 schedule features 25 regular-season games, 16 conference games and 14 games at Mariotti Gym. The group will play three conference games before winter break, as its first home one will be against Maryville on Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.
"Once again, we have a demanding schedule," said Lee Buchanan. "It will be nice to play 14 games on our home floor in Mariotti Gym this year because all the travel involved in our conference can be difficult. Our USA South Conference schedule is always tough. I am hopeful that by returning 11 players from a year ago that we can have a smooth transition into the new season."
