LaGrange College Athletics is set to add a Women's Golf program which wil begin competition in fall 2024.
Coach details
The Men's Golf coach, Shannon Lipham, will be the lead recruiter and head coach for the new program. Coach Lipham is entering his third year with LC and is excited about building the new team from the ground up. Before coming to LaGrange College, he has coached multiple college golf teams. Most recently, he was the Head Coach at Point University. His 2020-21 team finished the year ranked first in the country in the Golfstat NAIA team rankings, NAIA Coaches poll and NAIA Bushnell Golfweek Coaches poll. Exciting times here at LC
The LaGrange College Athletic department is thrilled to add these new teams. Regarding what these new programs bring to LC, Terlynn Olds, Vice President for Athletics and Recreation said, "We will be able to broaden our domestic and international base of student-athletes — and allow more women to enjoy the Panther experience."
