Jeremy Batten begins his first year as the Wide Receivers Coach for the LaGrange College football team. Most recently, he coached wide receivers for the sprint football team at Anderson Broaddus University. Before ABU, he coached tight ends at North Carolina Wesleyan University from 2022-2023. While at Wesleyan he worked to develop game plan design and implementation of the plan in practice, as well as conducted meetings with student athletics regarding specific assignments in order to achieve team goals. Also, he assisted with special teams at practice and setting up recruiting visits with prospective players.
He finished his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Howard Payne University in 2019 and his Master's degree in Sports Management at Belhaven University in 2022.
Coach Batten was a two-year starter at wide receiver at Belhaven University before transferring to Howard Payne University. During his time at Belhaven, he accounted for the second most receptions on the team and helped them achieve the best record in school history. He was also a two time all conference academic student.
