Zachary Williams-Cooper starts his first year as the Defensive Line Coach for the LaGrange College football team. He started his coaching career as the Assistant Defensive Line Coach for the Arena Football League's Tampa Bay Storm in 2015. After 2015, he coached the defensive line as a student assistant at Florida Atlantic University. Following two years with FAU, Coach Coop began his tenure with St. Lucie West Centennial High School as the Assistant tothe Head Coach and Defensive Line Coach from 2017-2019. In 2020, he began coaching at Coral Springs High School as the Co-Defensive Coordinator and Head of Strength and Nutrition. In 2021, he began his first collegiate coaching job at Alderson Broaddus University. While at ABU, he was the Defensive Coordinator for the sprint football team.
Coach Coop received his Bachelor of Arts in History at Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Science in Psychology at Grand Canyon University.
He is originally from the Tampa Bay area and currently resides in LaGrange.
