Message from Assistant Director of Sports Information Trevor Wenners: Interested in reliving some of the best games at LaGrange College? We are going back and exploring some of the most jaw-dropping wins in Panther athletics' history.
The wins have certainly piled up for the LaGrange College baseball team since head coach David Kelton took over the program in 2014.
In seven years at the helm, the West Point, Georgia, native has compiled 171 wins and three USA South Tournament titles. It might be difficult to remember now, but not so long ago, he earned his first win.

Kelton will always have fond memories of his first win in the Panthers' head-coaching role on Feb. 20, 2014, at Cleaveland Field in Williamson Stadium. The Panthers cruised to a 9-2 victory over Bates, while playing error-free baseball and leading the hits' category, 14-7.
LaGrange jumped all over the Bobcats in the bottom of the first, putting a three spot on the scoreboard. Cain Sauls opened the scoring with a two-run single, and then two batters later, Sauls crossed home on an RBI ground out by Chad Pigg.
A three-run effort in the fourth gave the hosts a 6-1 cushion. In the inning, Casey Bell and Adam Terrinoni recorded RBI singles and Pigg connected on a one-run double to the gap in right-center.
Bates cut the deficit down to four in the top half of the fifth, and then LaGrange sprinkled on a run in the fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively, to add some separation and secure the victory.
Starting pitcher Zach Tatham registered the win, giving up two runs in five innings. Daniel Garrett was exceptional in four innings of relief, relinquishing no runs and earning the save. He retired five-straight batters immediately upon entering the game in the sixth inning.
Jake Hipple went 3-for-4 in the batter's box, with a double, run and walk. Jim Reed, Keith Sims, Bell and Pigg all recorded multi-hit efforts, combining for six runs, four RBIs and two doubles.
