Freshman Justin Yestrumsky is the USA South Rookie Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 23. Yestrumsky becomes the second straight Panther to get the honor after Daniel Garrett was named last week.
Yestrumsky (2-4) pitched a complete game four-hitter in the Panthers' 11-2 USA South win over Maryville. The Lilburn, Ga. native allowed only one hit after the second inning in becoming the first Panther to pitch a complete game this season. He did not walk a batter and struck out three.
