Junior Eric Morell is the USA South Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 22. This is the second time Morell has been selected for the weekly honor. In addition, he was selected for the D3baseball.com Team of the Week.
Morell threw a no-hitter in the Panthers' 2-0 victory over USA South foe William Peace in his only appearance on the mound last week. He becomes the first Panther pitcher to throw a nine inning no-hitter. Morell walked four batters and finished with a season-high seven strikeouts.
