LAGRANGE, Ga. – Having been off for the better part of a week, LaGrange (2-8, 0-0 CCS) softball returns home to face first time opponent Rose-Hulman (1-3, 0-0 HCAC) for a non-conference doubleheader on March 1.
The Panthers return to action for the first time since dropping a doubleheader at No. 5 Berry on February 22. They would fall 8-0 in five innings in the opener and 5-1 in the nightcap and come in having lost five in a row dating to a 10-2 loss at No. 19 Birmingham-Southern (2/12).
The Fightin' Engineers come in having dropped three in a row after a season-opening 6-0 victory over Agnes Scott (2/26). That same day they dropped the nightcap by a 4-1 score and then dropped 10-2 and 11-1 decisions at Emory (2/28).
SERIES HISTORY
This will be the first recorded meeting between the programs.
