DECATUR, Ga. - LaGrange's season ended with a pair of USA South losses to Agnes Scott on Saturday. The Panthers (8-27, 3-13 USA South) lost the first game 4-2 in eight innings and the second game 8-2.
The Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the first inning of the first game on Hailee Parmer's RBI single. With the game tied 1-1, Parmer gave LC the lead with a sacrifice fly as Kenzie Hornsby scored.
Agnes Scott (8-26, 3-13 USA South) forced extra innings with a run in the seventh inning. Michaela Daily's two-run home run in the bottom gave the Scotties the 4-2 win.
In the second game, the Panthers scored twice in the third to go up 2-0. Agnes Scott answered with five runs in the bottom of the inning. The Scotties added a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth for the 8-2 final.
Parmer went 2-for-4 with four RBIs in the doubleheader.
