LAGRANGE, Ga. – LaGrange men's (4-5, 0-3 CCS) and women's tennis (0-8, 0-3 CCS) return to action as they travel to Berea (M: 0-8, 0-2 CCS, W: 0-9, 0-3 CCS) on Saturday, April 1 for a rare doubleheader.
Both programs will play a twin bill as a result of the clubs previously scheduled match on Sunday, March 26 being wiped away due to severe weather. The first matches are set for 10 a.m. with the nightcaps slated for approximately 3 p.m.
The women have lost their first eight of the season, most recently 9-0 at Maryville (3/25) while the men dropped a 6-3 decision that same day.
For Berea, their men have lost their first eight of the season with the last six by 9-0 scores. Those have come to Anderson (2/25), Capital (3/3), Hanover (3/4), Centre (3/14), Covenant (3/18) and Piedmont (3/25). BC's women have lost all nine of their matches and have not scored more than two points in an outing all year. Their last three have all been on the road with 9-0 losses to Covenant (3/18) and Piedmont (3/25) sandwiched around a 7-2 loss to Agnes Scott (3/24).
