UPDATE (3/13): Due to consistent rain throughout the area, the Piedmont matches have been postponed until Friday, April 14. First serve remains at 4 p.m.
LAGRANGE, Ga. – LaGrange men's (5-5, 1-3 CCS) and women's tennis (0-9, 0-4 CCS) return to action as they host Piedmont (M: 10-5, 2-1 CCS, W: 13-2, 4-0 CCS) on Thursday, April 13. First serve is set for 4 p.m. after both matches were rescheduled from Friday, April 7.
The women have lost their first nine of the season but fell 5-4 at Berea (4/1) while the men pulled out a 6-3 decision that same day over the Mountaineers. Both programs would garner Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) honors as senior Hannah Miller (Jacksonville, Fla.) and senior Al Robertson (Moreland, Ga.) were both named their respective Players of the Week.
Piedmont's men had been on a tear with six straight wins from March 8-27 but have since dropped a 5-4 decision at Covenant (4/1) and 9-0 at Sewanee (4/2). The Lions' women opened with wins in 12 of their first 13 matches before falling 9-0 at Sewanee (4/2) and blanking Agnes Scott (4/11).
