CANTON, Ga. - Life University denied LaGrange its first win of the season with a 3-2 overtime win Saturday.
The Panthers (0-2) got goals from junior Dominique Desautels and senior Taylor Poole. Desautels assisted on Poole's goal.
Trailing 1-0 in the first half, DeSautels tied the match for the Panthers with her first collegiate goal. Poole put LC up 2-1 with her first goal of the season off an assist from DeSautels.
The Eagles (1-4) tied the match with 17 minutes left. Josie Davis' second goal of the match was the game-winner in overtime.
Junior DeAundra Green had seven saves in goal for the Panthers.
LC hosts Belhaven on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Berea on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
