The Maryville offense looked powerful but smooth in their 7-0 win over the Panthers.
Maryville got off to a quick start when Sierra Lee in the 8th minute scored a goal to put the Scots up 1-0. Maryville scored another goal when Madison McDonald hit a low right shot in the 22nd minute. Only two minutes later, Madison McDonald hit another goal to put the Scots up 3-0.
Maryville continued to score on the Panthers defense in the second half. At the 55th minute, Avery Brown hit a left shot to put the Scots up 4-0. Again only two minutes later, they hit another goal to go up 5-0. Maryville scored another goal with Sadie Phelan took a great shot to go up 6-0 in the 76th minute. In the 85th minute, the Scots hit a goal to go up 7-0. The rest of the way both teams traded shots but nothing went in. The final score was 7-0. It will be interesting to see how the Panthers can learn and move on from this tough match.
