The women's soccer team looks to win their first in-conference game over CCS opponent Agnes Scott, on Sept. 21 at 3 p.m.
The matchup-
Agnes Scott is 1-4-2 with the lone victory being a 4-1 win over Sweet Briar. The Panthers also played Sweet Briar that week and won 3-0. Another team both LC and Agnes Scott have played is Oglethorpe. Agnes Scott lost to them 4-0, while the Panthers lost 1-0. While playing the same teams does not always translate to wins or loses, it does give fans a better idea of how the two squads have matched-up against the same competition. The Panthers are 2-3-2 on the season and are searching for their first CCS win.
What to watch for-
In the Panthers last match against Oglethorpe, they came out in the second half firing on all cylinders. They increased their shots from three to eight and prevented their opponents from getting half as many shots in the second half as they did in the first. One thing to watch for is how the Panthers can carry that momentum into this match.
