All was slow for the Panthers in the first half, but with a second half awakening, the Panthers blew by Agnes Scott 3-0 on Sept. 21.
In the first half, nothing was falling the Panthers way. With the score being 0-0 at half, Coach Kenneth and the team woke up during the break. The Panthers waited no time to start the 3-0 run. In the 46th minute, Kaia King found Briana Suarez to give LC the 1-0 lead. Less than ten minutes later, in the 55th minute, Briana Suarez again found the goal after Marissa hit her with a great pass. Madison Dekker wrapped the LC victory up with a bow by scoring a goal of her own in the 72nd minute.
Briana Suarez looked fantastic today in the first Panther CCS win of the season. She has been playing great all season and today she was the most valuable Panther.
The next game for the Panthers is against Maryville College on Sunday (Sept. 24). The match begins at 2 p.m. and can be streamed here.
