LaGrange seniors Drew Carter and Drew McAdams will play in the All-American Bowl on Saturday, May 7. The all-star game will be played at the University of Charleston Stadium at Laidley Field in Charleston, West Va.
Carter and McAdams will be members of the Stars team opposing the Stripes team. The teams are made up of NCAA Division II and Division III players. This is the second all-star game for McAdams. He was a member of the Team Stars & Stripes that defeated the CONADEIP All-Stars 48-7 in the second annual Tazon de Estrellas in Toluca, Mexico last December.
Carter was a four-year letterman and starter for the Panthers at quarterback. He finished his career holding 31 school passing records. Carter threw for 7,298 yards and 56 touchdowns.
McAdams was also a four-year letterman and starter on the defensive line for the Panthers. He was second on team with 56 tackles, including 4.5 tackles for loss. McAdams finished his career fifth on school career total tackles list with 170.
