The LaGrange College women's soccer team will square off against defending USA South champion Maryville at 3:30 p.m. Sunday on Panther Field.
The Panthers (1-0, 1-0 USA South) won their first game of the season, 3-1, against Berea on Feb. 13 at Callaway Stadium. Maryville comes into the matchup with a 4-0 overall record and a 2-0 mark in the USA South.

During the season-opening win for LC, junior captain Sydney Dailey finished with a goal and an assist. Freshman Anna Brown floated a shot over the goalkeeper's head for her first collegiate goal in the 39th minute. Dailey orchestrated the play with an outstanding through ball down the right side of the 18-yard box.
Senior Taylor Hamm recorded her first college game-winner, blasting a corner kick off a Berea defender into the back of the net during the fifth minute. Sophomore goalkeeper Maurie White earned her third career win, tying a personal-best nine saves.
Brown, Leia Avery, Lauren Williamson, Nikki Longmoore and Sydney Saul made their collegiate debuts in the victory. LC held an 18-12 advantage in shots.
Taylor Frizen (3 goals, 1 assist) and Lexie Hill (2 goals, 3 assists) have led the way for the Scots in 2021. Maryville has defeated Brevard and Piedmont in conference action by identical scores of 2-0.
The Panthers will hit the road for the first time this season on Wednesday with a 2 p.m. game against Piedmont in Demorest, Georgia.
