FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. - The LaGrange golf team placed 11th in the 22-team field at the Royal Lakes Invitational on Tuesday. The Panthers had a two-day total of 597 over the Royal Lakes Golf and Country Club.
Freshmen Jeremy Edmunds and Eli Rogers were the Panthers' top finishers. Edmunds was low scorer for LC with a 2-over par 74 and a 147 total. Rogers had a final round 75 to tie Edmunds at 147.
Garrett Armbrust also had a second round 75 and was a shot back of Edmunds and Rogers with a 148 total. Martin Prlender (79, 155) and Gage Driskell (86, 169) rounded out the LC scoring.
The Panthers travel to Destin, Florida for the Golfweek D3 Fall Invitational at the Raven Golf Club. The tournament runs October 16-18.
