MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Following Day 1 being wiped out due to severe weather, LaGrange men's golf came in 14-of-15 at Wynlakes Invitational, shooting a 304 on Tuesday, March 28.
Freshman Garrett Armbrust (Woodstock, Ga.) led the Panthers with a round of 74 to tie for 29-of-77 with freshman Jeremy Edmunds (Charlotte, N.C.) right behind him in a tie for 37th with a 75. Fellow freshman Martin Prlender (Cordoba, Argentina) rounded out the top finishers a 76 to tie for 48.
Washington & Lee claimed the tournament title with a 284, a stroke ahead of Piedmont (285) with host Huntingdon (287), Wittenberg (289) and Rhodes (291) rounded out the top five.
The Panthers are now off until April 10-11 when they head to Florence, Alabama for the Alabama D3 Showcase. That tournament will be played at Robert Trent Jones Fighting Joe Golf Course.
