DALTON, Ga. – LaGrange men's golf closed out the inaugural Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Championships finishing 3-of-7 with scores of 306-308-319-933 on Wednesday, April 19.
Freshmen Jeremy Edmunds (Charlotte, N.C.) delivered a Top-10 performance as he shot a 75-76-77-228 to tie for 7-of-35 and fellow freshman Martin Prlender (Cordoba, Argentina) finished in 12th with scores of 75-74-83-232. Freshman Garrett Armbrust (Woodstock, Ga.) rounded out the top performers at 79-83-75-237 to tie for 14th.
Huntingdon earned the first league championship with a score of 889 with Piedmont (905) taking second. Behind the Panthers were Maryville (942), Belhaven (968), Covenant (979) and Berea (1096).
The Panthers will now wait to see if they will have any individual qualifiers for the 2023 NCAA Division III National Championships.
