The golf team jumped five spots between day one and day two, to finish the West Pines Collegiate 5th overall (Oct. 2-3).
After the first day of golf, the team was sitting in 10th place out of 18 in the West Pines Collegiate event (Oct. 2). The Panthers did not let the first day showing slow them down. In the final round, the team hit the second best score of the day with a plus six, which pushed the team to a 5th place finish (Oct. 3).
Sophomore Jeremy Edmunds and freshman Jay Manley led the Panthers with a total of 146 strokes, which tied them for 13th out of 96 players. Jeremy Edmunds was named CCS Player of the Week, while Jay Manley earned this week's CCS Men's Golf Rookie of the Week.
