LaGrange fell 13-7 to Berry in a non-conference game Tuesday night at Panther Field. The Panthers are now 0-2, while the Vikings were playing their season opener.
"We put together a solid 45 minutes from the second through the fourth," Coach Brandon Sewell said. "I felt like we controlled the momentum and played with a high effort in all phases.
"Our goal is to learn from and improve on the mistakes we made today so that we can put together a full 60 minutes and come out on top the next game."
LC could not overcome a 6-0 deficit after the first quarter. The Panthers played the Vikings on even terms the final three periods. Freshman Aiden Story had three goals for the Panthers. Ryan Comeau, Josh Hill, Michael Poteete, and Selassie Richardson each had a goal. Comeau and Jack Bryan each had an assist. Isaac Bohrer had 16 saves in goal for LC.
The Panthers play at Tennesse Wesleyan on Saturday in a non-conference game.
