It was an impressive start to the year for the men's soccer team, which defeated Millsaps College in a 11-0 blowout.
The Panthers only needed a minute and a half to score their opening goal, with Enrique Hernandez assisting and Jayden Parrish scoring the first of his three goals in the opening 10 minutes.
The Panthers kept up the pressure, adding two goals by Blake Webb and Lucas Duke to push the score to 5-0 entering halftime.
Entering the second half, LaGrange picked up right where it left off with two goals by Enrique Hernandez and one by Michael Hasse in the opening 10 minutes, raising the score to 8-0.
Three more goals by Dylan Bailey, Webb and Duke in the final minutes pushed the final to 11-0 in favor of LaGrange.
Andrew Cole picked up his first win of the year in goal, providing a clean sheet for the Panthers with three saves.
The team dominated all aspects of the game, as LaGrange outshot Milsaps 27-6, with 21 of those shots on goal.
The 1-0 Panthers will be back at Panther Field tomorrow at 5 p.m. against Pensacola Christian.
