After hitting three goals in the Panthers' two opening matches, Enrique Hernandez was named Collegiate Conference of the South Men's Soccer Player of the Week Tuesday.
The senior forward from LaBelle, Florida, has a had a strong start this season, totaling 16 shots—with 10 of them on goal—and four assists.
Last season Hernandez was named to the NCAA Division III Region VI team and to the USA South All-Conference West Division First Team and was selected as USA South Player of the Week on Sept. 27.
He played and started in 11 games, leading the team with 11 goals. He also had one assist.
In the Spring 2021 season, Hernandez also was named to the USA South All-Conference West Division first team and also led the team with 5 goals.
The Panthers go up against Centenary at 6 p.m. on Friday at Panther Field in their next contest.
