Matthew Webb's and Enrique Hernandez's great performances helped secure 7-1 win over Huntingdon.
The team got off to a quick start in the first half, going up 2-0. The first goal was by Enrique Hernandez when he took a great shot, followed by a Lucas Duke goal off of a Matthew Webb pass. In the 31st, Webb scored a goal of his own to put the Panthers up 3-0 in the first. Webb was not done scoring yet. In the 39th, he scored another goal on the Hawks. Panthers led at halftime 4-0.
Huntingdon came out in the second half firing. In the 56th minute, Varian Carty scored a goal for the Hawks to cut the Panthers lead to 4-1. Hernandez fired back with a goal of his own when Zechariah Brothers hit him with a great pass in the 65th. Hernandez thanked Brothers by giving him a superb look for Brothers to get a goal of his own only a minute later. Ricky Hammett capped the Panthers scoring off with a goal of his own in the 86th to put the Panthers up 7-1.
The final score was 7-1.
The team heads to Covenant on Sept. 30 to continue CCS play. The game begins at 7 p.m. and can be streamed here.
