Enrique Hernandez's goals push the Panthers past Maryville.
Both Maryville and LaGrange were trading shots in the first half, but nothing was going in. That was until senior Enrique Hernandez put the Panthers up 1-0 after a great shot in the 18th minute. The Panthers led the half in shots (7) and shots on goal (3), with the first half coming to a close with Hernandez having the lone goal.
The second half continued to be a defensive stalemate between the two teams. In the 83rd minute, Hernandez found the net again to put the Panthers up 2-0. The final score was Panther 2 Maryville 0.
The team travels to Rome, Ga. tomorrow (Sept. 24) to play against Berry. Kick off is at 3 p.m. and can be streamed here.
