For the third time this season, senior forward Enrique Hernandez is the Collegiate Conference of the South Player of the Week. Hernandez led LC to CCS wins over Huntingdon and Berea last week.
Hernandez celebrated his birthday with two goals in the 3-1 victory over Huntingdon. The two goals made Hernandez the Panthers' all-time leader in career goals with 37 at the time. He finished his week with a goal against Berea as the Panthers blanked the Mountaineers 2-0. The two wins kept the Panthers unbeaten in conference play with a 3-0-1 record.
Hernandez continues to lead the CCS and NCAA Division III with 17 goals. He has 40 points this season and is three points shy of breaking the LC career mark of 88 set by Terry Wadsworth (1985-88).
