LAGRANGE, Ga. – LaGrange (0-5, 0-1 CCS) women's tennis benefitted from a pair of forfeits but could not take full advantage as Belhaven (3-2, 1-0 CCS) came away with a 7-2 decision in an NCAA Division III women's tennis match on Saturday, March 11.

The Panthers would pick up a point with the forfeit at No. 3 doubles only to see senior Hannah Miller (Jacksonville, Fla.) and junior Journey Oden (Boaz, Ala.) drop an 8-1 decision at No. 1 and junior Leila Moss (Suwanee, Ga.) and senior Karson Troth (Marshall, Mo.) fell 8-3 at the No. 2 spot.

The Blazers would see their 2-1 lead disappear into a tie as they forfeited at the No. 6 position before taking control of singles. Judith Mills took down Miller 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1, Asia Robinson posted a straight sets 6-0, 6-0 decision at the fifth spot and Lillian Williams put the match away with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over freshman Nina Fischer. From there they would close out the 7-2 victory with 6-1, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-3 decisions at No. 3 and No. 2, respectively.
