In hard-fought matches on Friday, the Panthers gave up two in Richter Gymnasium at home.
Facing Huntingdon in the first match, LC took the first set but couldn't find its way back to the winner's column, losing 3-1.
Zentrina Choice and Jharia Harris led the team with 8 kills each. Alexis Childers contributed 16 digs and 10 assists, while Bailey Moss added 12 digs.
In the second match, the Panthers faced Alverno. In the first two sets the teams were tied at 15 each, with Alverno pulling away each time. In the third, the Panthers trailed slightly but couldn't take the lead.
The team was led by 7 kills from Jharia Harris, 14 assists from Alexis Childers and 21 digs from Bailey Moss.
The Panthers face N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday at 11 a.m.
