In a hard fought home match, the Panthers fall 3-0 to Oglethorpe.
In the first set, the Panthers started off hot, going up 7-4. After a timeout by Oglethorpe, they were able to claw their way back into the lead, at 17-11. The Panthers continued to fight but ended up dropping the game 25-15.
Oglethorpe started off hot in the second set, going up 10-3. The Panthers kept fighting but it was not enough to secure the set win. LC lost the set 25-16. Outside Hitter Journey Oden really showed her power in this set. When she got a clean spike on the ball, it was unstoppable for Oglethorpe to return.
The Panthers scored points quickly in the third, going up 4-2. Each team kept trading points until Oglethorpe was able to pull away at 16-11. The Panthers kept fighting and brought it back to within two points, at 18-16. Oglethorpe was able to pull out the third set win at 25-18.
