The first round of the CCS postseason tournament for LC is at Huntingdon on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
The matchup
The Panthers are 4-21 (4-13 CCS) and most recently lost to Point (Oct. 31). The leading scorer for LC is sophomore Meredith Orton with 140 points and 108 kills. The Hawks are 13-17 (11-5 CCS) and are coming off of a loss to Faulkner (Oct. 30). Ashlen Janowski leads the Hawks in kills with 260 and points with 302. The Panthers have played Huntingdon twice this year and lost both matches 3-0 (Oct. 3 and Oct. 25). The tournament is single game elimination, so if the Panthers lose then the season will come to an end.
