Panthers fought hard but dropped their matches to Covenant and Piedmont today (Oct. 21).
The games
In the first match, the Scots of Covenant were too much to handle for the young and injured Panther squad. Covenant is 21-2 (11-0 CCS) and it showed in both matches they played today. The Scots seemed to have all the answers on their way to a 3-0 win over LC.
Even though the Panthers dropped the first match, they came out fighting in the second. Both teams traded points and fought hard throughout each set. While it was close in the beginning, the Lions kept finding ways to edge out the Panthers. Piedmont went on to win 3-0.
Next match
The team returns home to face Huntingdon on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
