The Blazers tonight (Oct. 12) were too much to handle for the Panthers, Behhaven won 3-0.
Belhaven got off to a quick start in the match going up 10-5. The Panthers continued to battle but the Blazers bested LC, winning 25-15. The second set was all Belhaven. They took a big lead and led the rest of the way until closing out the set with a 25-13 win. Even though LC was down 2-0, the Panthers did not quit. In the third set, each team traded points for the first 15. The Blazers then were able to pull away to win the set 25-19. Regardless of the outcome, the third set looked the best for the Panthers tonight.
On the bright side, the Panthers tonight had fewer hit errors, more blocks and more block assists.
The Panthers travel to Berea, Ky. to take on Berea and Wesleyan on Oct. 14 in a tri-match.
