A short-handed LaGrange volleyball team dropped Collegiate Conference of the South matches to Berea and Wesleyan on Saturday in Richter Gym. The back-to-back 3-0 losses left the Panthers 3-17 overall and 3-8 in conference play.
The Panthers came into the game without four players on their 12-player roster. They finished the day with six healthy players after two more exited with injuries.
Berea won the first match of the day 25-5, 25-18, and 25-18. Zentrina Choice had seven kills for LC. In the final match of the day, Wesleyan outlasted the Panthers 25-15, 25-21, and 26-24. Choice had another seven kills, while Meredith Orton added six.
The Panthers host Point University on Thursday in a non-conference match beginning at 6 p.m.
