Panthers close out the regular season with a Halloween home match against Point at 7 p.m. on Oct. 31.
The Panthers are 4-20 (4-13 CCS) and most recently lost to Maryville but beat Agnes Scott in a home tri-match (Oct. 28).
The seniors
Leia Avery is a senior from Kennesaw, Ga. She has played as the outside hitter in eight matches for the Panthers this season. She has shown her leadership as a Panther through great communication and support for her fellow teammates throughout the season
Carmen Hamilton is a defensive specialist from Alpharetta, Ga. She is a marketing major at LC and has played in over 45 games as a Panther. This season, she has 136 digs, 20 kills and 14 aces. Carmen has been a consistent presence playing for the Panthers these past two season
The third and final senior on the Panthers volleyball team is Journey Oden. Oden is a outside hitter from Boaz, Ala. She has been limited to playing in 10 games this season due to injury but still is second on the team in kills (83) and points (89). She often shows her incredible strength and skill when she is able to get a clean spike.
