LAGRANGE, Ga. – Following a highly successful trip to Kentucky, LaGrange (9-15, 3-3 CCS) softball hits the homestretch with a six game homestand as they host Huntingdon (22-6, 6-2 CCS) for a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 11. First pitch of Game 1 is set for 3 p.m. with the nightcap set for approximately 5 p.m.
The Panthers come into the set having demolished Berea (4/8) by scores of 11-0 and 19-1 in a pair of five inning outings while HC has won five of their last six, including a commanding sweep of Covenant (4/5) by scores of 12-0 and 8-0.
SERIES HISTORY
The Panthers have faced Huntingdon the most times in program history, trailing 40-34 for a total of 74 meetings dating back to 2003. LaGrange won a series best eight straight from 2009 into 2010 while the Hawks took seven in a row from the end of 2011 into 2013.
