GREENSBORO, N.C. - Lincoln Anderson and Ronald Youngblood's career highs were not enough as Greensboro stopped LaGrange 99-95 in a USA South game Tuesday. The Pride upped their record to 7-2 in winning their USA South opener. The Panthers are 2-5 and 1-1 in conference play.
How it Happened
The Panthers built a double-digit lead in the first half. Anderson's dunk off a pass from Kyle Brown finished a 12-2 run to put LC up 32-21 midway through the first half. Julian Cameron, who had 18 points in the half, hit a trey and made a jumper as the Panthers led 51-44.
LC held onto its lead eight minutes into the second half. Greensboro used a 10-0 run to take a 68-63 lead. The Pride would hold onto the lead the rest of the way. The Panthers tied the game twice, the last at 89-89 on Bershard Edwards' two free throws with 3:04 remaining.
By the Numbers
The Panthers shot a sizzling 65.6 percent in the first half, finishing with a season-best 57.6 shooting percentage.
LC out-rebounded Greensboro 39-33.
Greensboro snapped a three-game losing streak to the Panthers. The Pride lead the series 11-5.

Anderson and Youngblood had career-highs of 19 and 17 points respectively. The pair led the team with 7 rebounds each.
Cameron finished with a team-high 29 points. He extended his program record of 20+ point games to seven. In the first half, Cameron was 7-for-8 from the floor, including a perfect 4-for-4 from 3-point range.
