Rising senior Lincoln Anderson has earned a spot on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2019-2020 Honors Court. To be eligible, a student-athlete has to be a junior or senior, he had to have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher for the 2019-2020 academic year, he must have spent at least one season at his current school, and he must attend an NCAA or NAIA institution.
Anderson, a psychology major, has been on the USA South Academic All-Conference team three straight years. He received the team's Glenn Simpson Academic Award, given to the player on the team with the highest grade point average, for the second time in three years.
During the past season, Anderson averaged career-bests of 13.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. He led the team in rebounding, while leading the team and was second in the USA South with 59.8 field goal percentage. Anderson had career highs of 25 points ad 15 rebounds at Berea on Feb. 1 of this year.
